About Us
We are a Civic Movement of Memory and Sovereignty.
“We are not inventing claims – we are reviving buried truths.”
Our Resolve
The Chagos Islands are an inseparable part of Maldivian heritage and pre-colonial sovereignty. We are a grassroots civic initiative committed to restoring historical, legal, and cultural ties between the Maldives and the Chagos Archipelago.
Our Mission
Research: Legal, historical, and geographical evidence
Legal Advocacy: Submissions, diplomatic briefings, and policy engagement
Public Awareness: Campaigns, media outreach, and civic education
We Are Custodians, Not Executives
We reject the NGO model. We are not a funded organisation but a civic collective bound by duty, not hierarchy. This is the Custodian Model:
No foreign funding dependence
No personal ownership or branding
Roles are functional, not hierarchical
